Coding Boot Camp (section 1)

Prepare for coding certification or refresh your coding knowledge.

Topics: fundamental coding guidelines, terminology, ICD-10 CM, CPT-4,

HCPCS-Level II, modifiers, CPT Category II codes and E/M documentation.
Exercises and review will be held during class and on the half day, Thursday, November 8.

The four-session class meets weekly to allow study time between sessions and includes additional homework assignments.

Dates/Times:          Four sessions in total                   

8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 10/19, 10/26, & 11/9 Lunch will be provided.

8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on 11/8 for practice test and review

Registration Fee: $100-MetroCare Physician Members and staff only

Due to the low fee, there will be no CEUs available.

If you are taking a certification exam, fees paid to MetroCare do not include any exam costs. Exam fees are payable to the credentialing organizations.

Bring your CPT4 (AMA Professional or standard edition only), ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II and a medical dictionary to class with you.
